Jacques Mees
 (1 stemmen)Singer - Songwriter - Troubadour Jacques Mees was born march 1959 in Moergestel, The Netherlands. He started his musical career at the age of eleven when he bought his first guitar. Long before that he explored the world of folk, blues and country. His first and biggest inspiration was formed by Bob Dylan. Later he discovered the music of great performers such as Woody Guthrie, Hank Williams and Dave van Ronk. He started interpreting their songs but soon he picked up the art of writing his own material. Throughout the years he recorded several independent cd's. He toured all over Europe, worked for a time in Rio de Janeiro and did gigs in New York. He opened for artists like Kevin Ayers and the late Rick Danko. Jacques Mees; An entertainer who sings every song straight from the heart. With his unique acoustic guitarstyle and his haunting dark voice, he'll give you a night to remember. Cindy Peress
 (2 stemmen)CINDY PERESS Cindy Peress staat bekend als een zeer eigenzinnige artiest. Als Amerikaanse muzikant is zij in 1979 naar Nederland gekomen om hier haar carrière voort te zetten. Zij heeft dat mogen doen met veel grootheden uit de (inter)nationale muziekwereld. Je zult haar niet vaak betrappen op het spelen van bluescovers. Een gigantisch eigen repertoire maakt haar tot een bluesmuzikant die niet in het standaard bluesimago past. Je zou haar muziek dan ook meer kunnen scharen in de groep ‘Cross-over’. Terwijl zij ook als singer/songwriter graag gehoord wordt. Zij trekt als solo muzikant langs de podia. Maar treedt ook zeer regelmatig op met haar band. Cindy Peress is een werkelijke muzikant/entertainer zoals je in Nederland nog maar weinig ziet. Wanneer zij op het podium staat kun je niet om haar heen!
